Cosmic Cousins Wins First Place at Quilts UK 2006
This gorgeous quilt, Cosmic Cousins, featuring the Ohio Star block from the book, 50 Fabulous Paper-Pieced Stars, was made by Tracey Pereira of Catherington.Hampshire, UK and her cousin Emma Armstrong of Winterslow.Wilthshire, UK. They took the well-deserved first place in the Two Person Category at Quilts UK 2006. Not only is this a beautiful two-color quilt, the quilting is just amazing. Well Done and congratulations!!!! |
Paper Piecing Tool Caddy
On a recent trip to Wichita, Kansas, one of my students came to class with her awesome tool caddy she made from the free pattern available here. She used really cute quilting fabric! |
San Antone Rose
Linda Smith of Texas completed her version of the Bright Stars Wall Quilt. This is Linda's first completed quilt. Bravo!! She said she enjoyed making it and is very pleased with the results. |

Carol Wright of Corpus Christi, TX showed this spectacular quilt top at a guild meeting Show and Tell. It features several blocks from 50 Fabulous Paper-Pieced Stars and 40 Bright & Bold Paper-Pieced Blocks. She calls it "wild" and I call it "stunning". |
Variation of the Fathom Quilt
This quilt was made by Jane Mahler of Austin, TX. She used the Fathom quilt in Easy Machine Paper Piecing as the basis for this quilt but used blocks from Easy Paper-Pieced Baby Quilts too. |
